MR POOHEAD

Mr Poohead! is a punk/hardcore zine put out by a couple of teenage ninja skaters from that stronghold of punk rock we know as Patcham, Sussex. They've been getting busy with their tape recorder down the Free Butt interviewing the likes of Snap Her, Lagwagon, Horace Pinker and Smog UK. Funny and honest, these boys simply rock.

Issue 2 features Avail, Ignite and all sorts of adolescent punk-rock antics, lending the local hardcore scene a 'funny, new, non-too serious' touch in the eyes of one of their readers.

Mr Poohead!  issue 3 has Fur, Squat, Descendents and Goober Patrol interviews plus a whole load of the usual mindless boy nonsense.

The current issue 4 features interviews with Union 13, Scared of Chaka, MU330 and Pep Rally alongside editors Ad and Alex’s fueds and rants. This zine gets better and fatter with each new issue, and as well as the usual boyish teenage shenanigans there’s a touching piece on some golden Brighton and Hove Albion moments (for those outside the UK, The Albion are our homeless football club whose Goldstone Ground was sold off to property developers by some dodgy chairmen whose lives were, and probably still are, under threat.)
