VERTIGOVertigo's
website is where you're at right now, the oldest and
most irregular of the local zines in their current forms.
Vertigo is primarily a zine put out by Bruce, Steve and
Mark but has also been extensively involved in gig and
club promoting the past few years, namely the weekly Vertigo
Club at the Beachcomber followed by the fortnightly Pop Narkotic
at the Basement. Mark and Steve DJ lots around Brighton's
clubs and gigs, you might have heard them at the recent
mAKE-UP, Gold Blade, Man..or Astroman? or Metronome shows
to name but a few, as well as at the weekly Too Cubed
nights at Palmers Bar. Steve co-promotes with Anna under
the Melting Vinyl monicker, which won 1997
Music Promoter of the Year from corporate newspaper, The
Latest.
